The brief

This gallery dump is a collection of selected work from the months surrounding my sculpting challenge and the following semester break.

After university responsibilities took up much of my time, I found myself exploring different projects, learning new software and experimenting with workflows beyond the original challenge.

Unfortunately, a hard-drive failure resulted in the loss of a significant amount of my previous work, including sculpting exercises, 2D studies and pre-recorded challenge material.

Rather than leave everything undocumented, I decided to bring together the work that remained accessible, along with some of the things I created during the break.

This is not a single completed project or a comprehensive record of everything I worked on. It is a snapshot of where I was creatively at the time.

Process & exploration

This collection brings together work from different stages of my creative practice rather than following one linear production pipeline.

During the break, I spent time experimenting with software, exploring new workflows and continuing to develop my sculpting abilities. Some pieces were part of my ongoing sculpting challenge, while others came from separate personal and commercial projects.

Following the loss of a large portion of my archive, I had to work with the material that remained available. I chose a gallery-dump format to present these pieces together instead of treating the collection as one finished project.

Some of the work shown here may eventually receive individual breakdowns and full-length videos of its own.

Outcome & reflection

The result is a collection of selected work that documents my creative progress, experimentation and learning during this period.

It also serves as a way to share the work that remained accessible rather than allowing it to disappear into an unfinished archive.

This gallery dump marks a point in my creative journey, rather than the end of the sculpting challenge or my experimentation with new workflows.
